2 KINGS 8:1–6; PROVERBS 16:9
Frank was working on a construction project at his son’s home, which took days longer than expected. He wondered why until an urgent call came from a stranger saying his daughter had been injured in an accident.
It took only fourteen minutes to get to her because she lived close to his son. He would have used three hours if he had been at home. Now he understood why God caused a delay.
A woman, whose son God resurrected through Elisha, left her country due to famine and returned to beg the king for her land. During a conversation with the prophet’s servant Gehazi, the woman walked in, and her request was granted. God of the moment was at work.
God mercifully has the ability to use any circumstance for good, even though we have no idea what the next second will bring.
