EZEKIEL 34
A shepherd once said that sheep are incredibly lazy; only eating what is in front of them, even after consuming all the grass, they will not seek fresh patches – they will start consuming dirt.
The Bible frequently likens people to sheep. The prophet Ezekiel likened God’s people to sheep under the care of unscrupulous shepherds who took advantage of them and abandoned them for the savage animals.
God promised to rescue the exploitation-ridden people, bring them home, heal the injured, and pursue the lost, ensuring the safety of His flock and ensuring the well-being of His people.
We are fortunate to have a Shepherd (Jesus Christ ) who guides us towards green pastures.
