HEBREWS 1:1–4
At a railway station, I watched an engineer explain the importance of the locomotive engine. No matter how well-designed the carriages, without the engine, the entire train remains motionless.
In Hebrews, Jesus is described as the One through whom God made the universe (1:2)—its very architect. From distant galaxies to the details of your DNA, everything was crafted by Him.
Yet He is more than the Creator. Like a train’s engine, Jesus is the power that keeps everything moving. He sustains all things by His powerful word (v. 3).
As you witness the beauty of creation today, remember: in Jesus, all things hold together (Colossians 1:17). Let that truth lead you.
