GOD IS NEAR

MATTHEW 14:13–21

In a bustling African market, a woman struggled to reach ripe mangoes hanging high on a tree branch. A young boy nearby noticed her dilemma and, with ease, climbed up to bring some down. She smiled in surprise—she had not seen him there.

Much like the disciples in Matthew 14:13–21, we often focus on what we lack, forgetting who stands beside us. In their need, Jesus did not just provide bread; He revealed Himself as the Bread of Life.

In our daily struggles, we may not see Him immediately, but Christ—Immanuel—is always near, ready to help. Whether in a village, market, or hillside, His presence is constant, and His provision never fails.

🙏 Lord, open the eyes of Your servant to see You in the ordinary moments of life, and grant faith to rely on You more each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
