EPHESIANS 5:1-16
The plant needs full sun, but the yard’s shade is not suitable for it. Despite the plant’s attractive colour, shape, size, and scent, it is not happy at home due to insufficient sunlight. The plant’s care and attention are insufficient, and they attempt to compensate by giving it additional attention, but this fails. Plants require what they need.
People also do this. We cannot thrive in unfavourable conditions, despite the fact that we can endure them for a while. We have spiritual demands that are in addition to our fundamental physical needs and cannot be satisfied in any other way.
Believers are children of light, meaning they must live in God’s full light to thrive. Living in darkness will result in fruitless deeds, while living in Jesus’ light will produce good, faithful, and true fruit.
