Watchfulness is a critical ingredient in any Christian’s life. It is still vital today, will be needed tomorrow and in the days and years to come. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:6. Welcome to October 2019!

It is wise to stay alert because deception abounds even in what seems harmless.  1 PETER 5:8.

God provides all we need to let the light of His redeeming love bring out the best in us – so we can stand out in this world and cause others to slow down to notice Him, His ways and His beauty. JOHN 8:12.

God speaks in various ways – through His Word, in quiet moments of prayer and contemplation, even through those we encounter in our everyday lives. But often we allow hectic schedules and mindless activities to silence His voice. 1 SAMUEL 3:9-10.

At times our lives can get really difficult through trials and losses. Rather than giving up, let us hang on and keep walking one step at a time. And one day we will wake up to a sunny day. GALATIANS 5:25.

We are the Bride of Christ. Our beloved Groom has created us to excel. So, reach into the spiritual realm, take His hand, and move with Him today. 3 JOHN 1:2.

All of God’s blessings are for us to obtain because Jesus paid the ultimate price. Everything he promised pertains to all of His children. GALATIANS 3:29.

We can find God. We can feel His love in wonderful ways. He is not millions of miles away and too busy to care about our special needs each day. HOSEA 6:3.

One day this life as we know it shall pass, and only what is done for Jesus will last. JAMES 4:14.

To be filled, we must first be emptied of ourselves, our sin, our wants, our desires. Anytime we cling to anything (even good things) other than God, we hinder the working of the Holy Spirit. We need to stay surrendered completely. EPHESIANS 5:18.
