PEOPLE BEFORE PROJECTS

1 KINGS 5:13–18

Imagine a farmer driving his oxen under the scorching sun from morning until their legs tremble and their breathing becomes heavy. A wise farmer knows when to stop, water them and let them rest. He understands that exhausted animals cannot continue pulling effectively. Those we lead also need rest and care.

Solomon had thousands working on the temple, yet he organised them in shifts so they could work and then rest. The project advanced without unnecessarily exhausting the people.

Leadership is not merely about completing assignments; it is about caring for those who make them possible. Let us create environments where people can work diligently without being crushed by their responsibilities.

🙏 May the Lord give you wisdom to lead with compassion, strength to serve with excellence, and grace to care for everyone entrusted to you. Amen.
