HAPPY NEW YEAR!

REVELATION 21:5.

Everybody likes new things, including God. He is called the Ancient of Days, but He says, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18-19).

God begins His book (the Bible) with the story of His creating a new world; He ends it with His plans to make a new heaven and new earth. In the same way, our heavenly Father wants to do new things in the lives of His children.

One good way for a child of God to celebrate the New Year is to let go of anything that has gone stale or rotten. Then we will be free to live each day expecting new, fresh things from the One Who promises to make everything new.
