CHECK THAT RESOLUTION!

PROVERBS 21:5.

January 1st is the day for many that self-improvement resolutions are made. Resolutions are good, but I personally believe in revolutions (because it is all about acting and not deciding to act). That aside, most resolutions end up being financial, business, or personal fitness goals, etc.

There is nothing wrong with any of these.

The Bible in Proverbs 21:5 states that the plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty.

Yet as children of the God we should be cautious of the motivation behind any resolutions we might make. Are our goals generated from a state of pride, greed, hatred, or any other negative state of the heart or mind? If so, then the resolutions are not worth it.

The idea of making a change to our lives can seem daunting, especially if we do not have the right motivation. However, a positive mindset aimed at pleasing God, bettering the society, being a blessing to humanity can go a long way to help us hit our target.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ONCE AGAIN.
