PSALM 63
During Dan’s younger years, business trips often took his father away from home. Despite his frequent calls, they did not provide enough comfort. To soothe him, his mother would pull out their photo albums and recall memories of their time together. This helped Dan feel he had a good father.
I can appreciate that when Dan was unable to see his father, he needed to be reminded of his love. In difficult or lonely moments, I desire to feel that I am loved, especially by my heavenly Father.
In Psalm 63, David, hiding from enemies in the desert, expressed his deep yearning for God. His personal encounters with God’s limitless power and satisfying love led him to praise and rejoice in his dependable Father’s loving care.
We need to be reminded of God’s identity and His acts of love when we are in our darkest moments and feel as though He is not supporting us.
🙏 May you know God’s divine care as He demonstrates His endless love again and again and transform all your bitter experiences to sweet ones.
