1SAMUEL 12:21
In our impatience, like the children of Israel in Exodus 32, we often create idols to find something or someone to worship as we are upset at God’s apparent silence or delay.
In 1 Samuel 12:21, we see Micah losing his mind when the tribe of Dan stole his man-made idols. They took the objects in which he had placed his hope. But if his idols were as powerful as he thought, would stealing them be possible?
We must remove our trust from worthless idols and put it where it ought to be – in the Living God.
