DON’T RUSH WHAT MATTERS

1 KINGS 6:1–6

A farmer does not plant a seed today and demand a harvest tomorrow. He waters, weeds and waits, knowing that healthy growth takes time. Likewise, some of the most valuable things God builds in us develop through patience and consistency.

1 Kings 6:1–6 describes Solomon’s construction of the temple, giving careful measurements and details about its rooms and structure. The work was not done carelessly or hurriedly. Every part had its place, reminding us that God values order and faithful preparation.

We should resist the pressure to rush spiritual growth, relationships or responsibilities. Take time to pray, learn God’s Word, correct mistakes and make wise choices. Even when progress seems slow, faithful obedience is producing something worthwhile. Build patiently; what God is shaping in you may last for generations.

🙏 May God strengthen you to walk faithfully, trust His timing, and flourish in His purpose. Amen.
