WISDOM’S INVITATION

PROVERBS 8:10–21

At the age of sixty, renowned British journalist and social critic Malcolm Muggeridge converted to Christianity. As he celebrated his 75th birthday, he made 25 wise observations about life. One said, “I never met a rich man who was happy, but I have only very occasionally met a poor man who did not want to become a rich man.”

Although most of us would agree that money cannot buy happiness, we may yet wish for more to be sure.

The estimated net wealth of King Solomon exceeds two trillion US dollars. Despite his wealth, he understood money’s limitations. Proverbs 8 shares “Wisdom’s Call” to everyone, urging them to value wisdom over riches.

Wisdom values its benefits more than gold and silver, offering a rich inheritance and fullness to those who love it.

That is true riches indeed!

🙏 Thank You, Lord, for the abundance of wisdom that directs the actions of Your people today.
