‎WHEN PLANS COLLAPSE

‎JAMES 4:13–17

‎In 1912, the Titanic—deemed “unsinkable”—set sail with absolute confidence. Yet, despite human expertise and bold predictions, the great ship sank on its first voyage, reminding the world that even our strongest plans are fragile.

‎James 4:13–17 warns us against assuming we control tomorrow. James reminds believers that life is fleeting—“a mist”—and that every plan must rest under God’s will, not our own certainty.

‎Today, career goals, financial plans, or personal dreams can feel secure, but unexpected events often reshape our paths. This passage invites us to surrender our future to God’s wisdom and trust His steady hand above our limited control.

🙏‎May God guide your plans and anchor your heart in His will, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
