JAMES 4:13–17

James 4:13–17 warns us against assuming we control tomorrow. James reminds believers that life is fleeting—“a mist”—and that every plan must rest under God’s will, not our own certainty.
Today, career goals, financial plans, or personal dreams can feel secure, but unexpected events often reshape our paths. This passage invites us to surrender our future to God’s wisdom and trust His steady hand above our limited control.
