‎WAITING AT THE PLATFORM

‎LUKE 1:34-38

‎Like a traveller standing on a cold platform, we wait with hope, watching for the promised train. Advent is that quiet space of expectation, where patience is stretched and hearts listen closely for what is coming.

‎The Bible reminds us of Mary, who waited in trust as God’s promise took shape (Luke 1:38). She did not have all the answers, yet she believed that God was faithful and present in the waiting.

‎Today, we also wait — for peace, healing, direction, or change. The days before Christmas invites us to trust that God is already at work, even when we cannot yet see the arrival.

🙏‎May the God of hope, teach you to wait with trust and joyful expectation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
