PSALM 51:10
Someone recently asked me a hard question: “How long have you gone without sinning?” “A month, day, hour?” How do we answer to such a question? If we said we had not sinned in our thoughts or deeds for a day, we would be deceiving ourselves.
A more positive question may be, “What does God do or say when we confess our sin and seek forgiveness?” The answer is that if we confess, He will forgive us. Jesus has taken on our sin problem by dying and rising in our place. That is why He can make us have a pure heart (Ps. 51:10).
Our sins have been conquered by Jesus. To have fresh life within, everyone must come to Christ by faith.
The forgiveness of Christ is the key to a fresh start.
