TIME TO WORSHIP

LUKE 2:8-20

As we read Luke’s account of Jesus’ birth, we will notice that the first Christmas was lacking in our modern feasts, gifts, and banquets, but included worship.

After the angel announced the birth of Jesus to the wide-eyed shepherds, a choir of angels began to praise God, and the shepherds responded by running to Bethlehem where they found the newborn king lying in a manger. They returned to their fields and glorified and praised God for all they had heard and seen. The encounter with the Son inspired the shepherds to worship the Father.

Today, let us consider our response to Jesus’ coming to earth. Is there a place of worship in our hearts on this day that His birth is celebrated?

Do have a Christmas filled with praise!

🙏 The eternal King of Israel is here! The path to peace has been revealed. The way of redemption and hope has been provided. God and sinners – reconciled! Thank You Lord Jesus for another Christmas.
