GALATIANS 4:1–20
A young apprentice may wear the same uniform as a master craftsman, yet only growth, learning and practice make him skilled. In the same way, God calls believers to move beyond spiritual infancy into maturity, enjoying the fullness of life in Christ rather than merely appearing religious.
In Galatians 4:1–20, Paul expresses concern that the Galatian Christians were turning back to the Law after receiving salvation through faith in Christ. He reminds them that, as God’s children, they are no longer slaves but heirs who have received freedom, grace and adoption through Jesus.
Believers today must avoid replacing a living relationship with Christ with religious routines. Spiritual maturity comes through studying God’s Word, prayer and obedience to the Holy Spirit. As we grow in Christ, we experience true freedom, deeper joy and a richer understanding of God’s purpose for our lives.
🙏May God’s grace strengthen, guide, and mature you in Christ. Amen.
