JOHN 4:7-15
About one percent of the world’s water, which covers seventy percent of the planet, is suitable for drinking. Due to the fact that clean water is essential for all life, water conservation and sanitation are important issues in many parts of the world.
Jesus made a special effort to bring a lost woman to a different type of reviving water. He purposefully went to a Samaritan town that no respectable rabbi would ever visit. He spoke to the woman about “living water” there.
Those who accept Jesus have eternal life, and rivers of living water will flow from their hearts (John 7:38). The same living water that refreshes them is also available to refresh others.
The distribution of living water is also uneven around the world, just like the distribution of drinkable water. Many people are unaware of genuine Jesus-followers who care about them. Sharing Him is a privilege we have. People are thirsty for living water, and Christ is the living water.
🙏Lord Jesus, You are a never-ending supply of living water for a parched world. Help us to share You to as many as we meet.
