I KINGS 3
A man accused a woman of having his dog and sued her for it. The woman told the judge where she bought her dog and said it could not be his in court. When the judge let the animal in the courtroom, the true owner was exposed. It ran to the man right away, tail wagging!
Solomon, an ancient Israelite king, wanted to divide a baby boy between two women, but the real mother pleaded for her son’s life, and Solomon granted it to her, ensuring her son’s safety.
Wisdom is crucial in determining fairness, morality, and rightness. To get wisdom, we can ask God for a discerning heart.
Our God is a great counsellor who is willing to bestow abundant amounts of godly wisdom on us, in addition to being an entirely wise judge (James 1:5).
