A little paradise with white sands and crystal-clear waters, Lord Howe Island is located off the east coast of Australia. Swimmers may enjoy swimming alongside turtles and dazzling trevally fish, and moon wrasses glided by, their neon colours flashing like a billboard. Coral reefs brimming with vivid orange clownfish and yellow-striped butterflyfish that swooped in to plant a kiss on your hand can be seen in its lagoon.
Paul’s response shows that creation reveals God’s nature (Romans 1:20), and Lord Howe Island’s wonders provide a glimpse into His power and beauty.
God’s beauty is evident in creation, reflecting His goodness, power, and beauty, similar to how a piece of art reflects its artist.
Nature often gets worshipped instead of God (Romans 1:25), a tragedy. Let earth’s crystal waters and creatures point us to the powerful and beautiful One behind them.
