ISAIAH 53:9–12
Our daughter shed tears as we bid farewell to my parents, who had visited us. As I comforted her, my wife remarked, “I am afraid that is the price of love.”
Though we may experience the agony of being parted from our loved ones, Jesus experienced the most extreme form of separation when He paid the price for love on the cross. He was nailed to the cross. For our sins, He was wounded, and it is by His wounds that we are healed.
Jesus was born on earth due to love, enduring abuse from teachers of the law, crowds, and soldiers. He suffered and died for us, standing as the perfect sacrifice before the Father, and we live because of love.
🙏Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, forgive us our sins and help us to share your love with others.
