John Babler, a Texas chaplain, attended police academy training during a sabbatical to understand the challenges faced by law enforcement officers. This experience fostered humility and empathy, and he aims to improve his effectiveness in counselling officers dealing with emotional stress, fatigue, and loss.
God understands our situations because He created us and sees everything. He experienced life as a human being, becoming flesh and dwelling among us as Jesus Christ. Jesus faced various difficulties, including the heat of the sun, pain of an empty stomach, uncertainty of homelessness, emotional tension, betrayal, and violence.
Jesus, a compassionate and understanding counsellor, experienced both the joys of friendship and family love and the challenges we face on earth, providing hope and insight to those in need.
The Lord understands the struggles we face.
