ACTS 6:1-7
An increase in refugees has caused growth in local churches, bringing challenges such as integrating newcomers with different cultures and languages.
Disagreements are common in church, like anywhere else. If not resolved properly, they can lead to divisions.
The early church in Jerusalem experienced growth but faced a cultural dispute between Greek-speaking Jews (Hellenists) and Aramaic-speaking Jews. Hellenist widows were neglected in food distribution, so seven men were chosen to fix the issue. The church thrived after the apostles prayed over them.
Growth leads to challenges, but with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, problems become growth opportunities.
Collaboration is essential for success. Starting together is a good beginning, staying united is progress, and ultimately, working together leads to achievement.
🙏 Lord Jesus, direct your Church on how to coexist peacefully. Lead your people through the process of re-establishing a loving community. Help all church leaders to repair damaged relationships and bring the Church Family back into harmony, in Your peerless name. Amen.
