MARK 10:17–31
A fisherman sold all his belongings to buy a larger boat. Many thought he was foolish for risking everything. But after months of hard work, his new boat brought in catches beyond what others had ever seen.
Similarly, Jesus told His followers that those who leave behind their possessions, family, or status for His sake will gain far more. While earthly wealth can disappear, God’s rewards are lasting.
Following Christ is not about financial gain. It is about the priceless joy of knowing Him, serving others, and receiving eternal life. No earthly investment can ever match the certainty and value of what God promises to those who trust Him fully.
