REVELATION 22:1–5
A boy loved walking with his father to the old locked garden gate at the edge of their village. His father would always say, “One day it will open, and you will see something beautiful.” That small promise filled him with hope. In the same way, God gives believers a far greater promise of a new and perfect home.
Revelation 22:1–5 paints this coming home with breathtaking clarity: a river clear as crystal, the tree of life in full bloom, and the glorious assurance that there will no longer be any curse. Everything broken will be healed, and God’s presence will be at the centre of it all.
When we face disappointment, sorrow, or uncertainty, this promise reminds us that our true home is being lovingly prepared by God Himself.
