THE GAME OF BLAME

JOHN 1:29

I have been blamed for many things, and rightfully so. I have also taken the blame for things that were not my fault.

But I have been on the other side of the fence, accusing other people. Blame hurts. Guilty or innocent, we waste a lot of time and mental effort looking for someone else to bear the weight for us.

Jesus gives us a superior method for handling blame. He accepted the world’s guilt upon Himself (John 1:29). Furthermore, He served as the scapegoat for the world’s problems (Leviticus 16:10).

We can give up looking for someone to blame for our problems. Because of Jesus, we may put an end to the blame game by taking both our own guilt and that of others to Him in repentance.

🙏🏻Thank You Lord Jesus, for taking our blames upon yourself.
