Water Is Life has created “The Drinkable Book,” a resource that uses silver nanoparticles to filter out 99.9% of harmful bacteria from water. Each tear-out page can filter up to 100 litres of water, making it a valuable tool for those in need of clean water.
The books have been distributed in Haiti, India, and sub-Saharan Africa, providing clean drinking water.
In John 4, the Bible is described as a “drinkable” book, addressing a woman’s thirst for “living water” beyond physical water. She sought the source of grace and forgiveness, not just clean, clear liquid, as she sought to quench her thirst for spiritual nourishment.
God’s Word is the ultimate “drinkable” book, pointing to Jesus as the source of living water. Accepting Jesus’ water leads to eternal life, as stated in v. 14.
🙏 Lord Jesus, help us discard the things that leave us empty and thirsting, and exchange them for the satisfaction of the living water You offer.
