THE CLAY POT BY THE FIRE

MATTHEW 7:7–8

In a certain village, a cracked clay pot is not thrown away; it is placed back near the fire to be strengthened. Waiting seasons feel the same. We think delay means loss, but often God is restoring what life has weakened.

Jesus says in Matthew 7:7–8 to keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Psalm 147:3 declares that God heals the broken-hearted. Scripture shows a God who listens patiently and works deeply, even when answers seem slow.

Delays (in marriage, work, health, or family) can wound the heart. Yet God may be mending you for a greater purpose. Stay near Him; healing happens in His time.

🙏 Let God, our Father, strengthen your heart as you wait on Him. Amen.
