JOHN 14:1-14
A lady moved over 1,000 miles to a new city with her husband, dividing tasks to meet a tight schedule. Her husband found a new home while she packed. Despite not seeing the area beforehand, she trusted her husband due to his history of considering her preferences.
Jesus spoke to His disciples in the upper room about his upcoming betrayal and death, comforting them with the promise of preparing a place for them in heaven. He reminded them of their shared history and the miracles they had witnessed. Despite the grief of his death, Jesus reassured them that they could trust in his promises.
Even when we are going through a difficult time, we can rely on Jesus to guide us to a good place. As we follow Him, we will also come to rely more and more on His dependability.
🙏Lord Jesus, I commit this day to You, trusting that You are always by your servants side. Amen.
