COLOSSIANS 4:2–6
Jude struggles with insufficient exercise and recently acquired a pedometer to motivate himself. This simple gadget significantly changes his motivation. Instead of grumbling about mundane tasks, he views them as opportunities to increase his steps. Mundane tasks, like providing water for children, become tasks that help him work towards a larger goal. This change in perspective and motivation has led him to strive for extra steps whenever possible.
In Christian life, we often have opportunities, as Paul mentioned in Colossians 4:5. However, we may not always use these opportunities wisely. God is present in our lives, and each interaction offers a chance to pay attention to His work, even in small ways.
Who can predict how God will operate when we are aware of the opportunity He presents to us?
🙏Lord Jesus, we have countless chances every day to show love, listen, and help others around us. Please help us in becoming more considerate of the needs of other people.
