At a rural boarding school, two girls become close friends. When one loses her sponsor and prepares to drop out, the other offers to share her food and supplies—even at the risk of punishment. “We started this journey together,” she says, “and we will finish it together.”
Just as Ruth chose to stay with Naomi, this student chooses loyalty over comfort.
In many schools, competition is intense, but true friendship means standing by others in difficult times.
Ruth’s faithfulness led to unexpected honour, and both King David and Jesus Christ became her descendants.
When we make sacrifices out of love—just as Christ did—we become part of a greater story, one filled with purpose and divine reward.
