‎STANDING APART

‎PHILIPPIANS 2:1–11

At school, I once saw a pupil quietly put back every scattered chair after class while others rushed out. No one asked him; he simply chose the helpful path most ignored. His small act showed how doing what is right often means standing apart from the crowd.

In Philippians 2:1–11, Paul points us to Jesus, who—though fully God—chose humility. He did not grasp for power or recognition but took the position of a servant, giving Himself completely in love. Christ’s way is gentle, selfless, and unexpected.

Today, we follow Him by choosing service over attention, kindness over competition, and humility over pride, even when no one is watching. Standing apart does not mean being better than others—it means choosing the way of Christ even when it is the quieter, harder path.

🙏‎May the Lord Jesus make your heart as humble as His own. Amen.
