PHILIPPIANS 2:12–18
One rainy evening, I saw a young man stop his motorbike to help an elderly woman whose shopping had spilled into the muddy road. Without hesitation, he gathered her things, sheltered her with his coat, and walked her home.
That simple act of kindness shone brightly in a weary world—just as Paul urged believers in Philippi to “shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:15).
In every village, town, or city, God still calls us to live in a way that reflects His love. By His strength, even the smallest deed can light up the darkness.
Let us shine, that others may see and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:14–16).
