Joyce, a woman who had been imprisoned for six years due to wrong decisions, was set free. Despite her despair, a kind couple offered her lodging, food, and assistance. They told her about a God who loves her and wants to give her a second chance, showcasing the power of kindness.
Joyce’s story, like Naomi, a widow who lost her husband and two sons in a foreign land, illustrates the power of God’s love and the grace of God’s compassion.
God’s care for us is evident in the love of others and His grace in the helping hand of those we may not know well. He is willing to give us a fresh start, and we need to recognise His kindness in our everyday lives.
