JOHN 20:24–29
A cracked phone screen once reminded me daily of a careless fall, yet it still worked perfectly. Some marks tell stories of damage and survival, not defeat.
In John 20:24–29, the risen Jesus invites Thomas to touch His scars. The nail marks and wounded side proved He was truly the same Lord who suffered and died. His scars were not erased by resurrection; they became evidence of love fulfilled and faith restored.
Today, our scars—grief, failure, or doubt—need not define us. Christ’s scars assure us that pain can lead to healing, and doubt can grow into faith when brought to Him.
🙏May the Lord Jesus turn our wounds into testimonies of His healing grace. Amen.
