REASON FOR SMILES AND KIND WORDS

1 THESSALONIANS 5:9–28

Workplace communication significantly impacts customer satisfaction, company profits, and co-worker appreciation. Teams with the least productivity tend to use negative comments more than positive words.

Paul, a disciple of Jesus, learned the importance of words in shaping relationships and outcomes. Initially terrorising followers of Jesus Christ, he became a great encourager through his letter to the Thessalonians. He encouraged readers to cheer each other on, avoiding flattery while demonstrating how to affirm others and reflect the Spirit of Christ.

Paul demonstrates that we can help each other experience a little bit of God’s kindness and patience by encouraging one another.

What could be better than working to bring out the best in another person?

🙏 Father in heaven, please help us to give others a small taste of your mercy and kindness.
