PHILIPPIANS 2:1–4
One Monday morning in a busy office, a team gathered for their weekly meeting. Their manager opened with Philippians 2:3–4, asking, “Do we truly look out for one another, or only ourselves?”
The room grew quiet. One colleague admitted, “I often push my ideas just to get noticed.” Another said, “It is hard to celebrate others when I feel overlooked.” They all agreed—selfishness often hides behind professionalism.
But just as Paul reminded the Philippians, the key is not self-effort. God, through His Spirit, gives us the desire and strength to change. He has loved us, adopted us, and walks with us. With His help, we can serve each other humbly—even in the workplace—putting others’ goods before our own.
🙏 May the Lord, help you to serve others humbly and with your strength everyday. Amen.
