REVELATION 21:1-5
Jane wrote an essay titled “My Perfect World” in which she imagined a world where ice cream is free, food is in abundance, and the sky is blue with interesting shapes. She also emphasised that no one would come home to bad news and no one would have to deliver it.
Is that not wonderful? Such comments make a strong statement about our faith in Jesus. He is healing and changing the world, “making everything new” (Revelation 21:5).
Paradise is a place of perfect communion with God, where there is no more evil, death, or pain. It offers a marvellous joy for believers who have been redeemed and claimed as His own.
We can experience paradise with God daily, experiencing His joy and victory in Christ, who conquered sin and death, while also striving against sin. This is a foretaste of the perfect reality.
🙏 Lord, thank You that You are making all things new. Help Your people to live in the hope of the day they will live with You.
