JOHN 14:25-31
On a flight through heavy turbulence, the passengers panicked — except a child calmly colouring. Why? Her father was the pilot. That quiet confidence came not from the weather but from trust in who was in control. Life often feels the same — unpredictable, shaky, and full of unknowns.
In John 14:27, Jesus offers His disciples a peace the world cannot give. He was preparing them for His departure, yet He spoke words of calm and assurance. His peace is not tied to circumstances but rooted in His presence and the promised Holy Spirit.
Just like the child trusted her father, we too can rest when we know Christ is with us and in us.
