OUR SOURCE OF SUPPLY

MATTHEW 6:9–15; PSALM 145:18

In August 2010, 33 miners were trapped underground in a mine shaft near Copiapó, Chile. After seventeen days of waiting, drilling created a hole in the shaft ceiling, which provided a delivery path for water, food, and medicine. The miners relied on these to survive, and on day sixty-nine, the last miner was safely pulled.

Surviving in the world requires external provisions. Prayer connects us to God, providing everything we need, like the drill holes for those miners.

Jesus urged us to pray for our daily needs, including comfort, healing, courage, and wisdom. He taught us to pray for all our needs, as He knows what we need before we ask. Through prayer, we have access to Him at any moment, and He is near to all who call on Him (Psalm 145:18).

🙏We give thanks to you, Lord, for being our provider.
