ISAIAH 40:25-31; PSALM 55:22
A man was continuously preoccupied with worry. Then one day people noticed him looking at ease and whistling joyfully. They watched him in shock and questioned, “What happened?”
He said, “I have hired a man to do my worrying for me.”
They inquired, “How much are you paying him?”
“One thousand dollars a week,” he said.
“Wow! How are you able to afford that?
“Unfortunately, I cannot, but that is his problem,” he said.
Even though this hilarious stress-relieving technique does not work in real life, as God’s children, we can give our troubles to Him because He has everything under control.
We can give our worries to the Lord if we have a tendency to worry. He never becomes too worn out or exhausted to pay attention to us. He delights in using all of His power and knowledge for our benefit. The Holy One who controls the stars is holding us in His tender arms.
Why worry when you can pray 🙏❓
