1 CORINTHIANS 15:50–58
A financial advisor advises investing money with hope and preparedness for the worst, acknowledging the uncertainty of life decisions. However, following a course where effort is not wasted in the end is a valuable approach.
Paul spent a year with Jesus’ followers in Corinth, a city known for moral corruption. After he left, he wrote to encourage them not to be discouraged and assured them of a day when the Lord would return, swallowing death in victory (1 Corinthians 15:52–55).
It can be challenging, demoralising, and even dangerous to stay committed to Jesus, but it is never in vain or unnecessary. Our lives are not in vain when we walk with the Lord and provide witness to His power and presence! Of that, we can be certain.
🙏Dear God, we cling to Your assurance that our efforts will fulfil Your plan and be highly valued in Your eyes even in these uncertain times.
