NO UNFINISHED BUSINESS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF LIFE

LUKE 23:32-43

Leo Plass from Oregon, who dropped out of college in 1932 must have learned a lot from the University of Life. As he approached his 100th birthday, he returned to finish his degree at the age of 99. He earned the three credits he needed to graduate and put an end to this crucial unfinished business in his life.

Many of us may relate with Leo. Unfinished business could involve unspoken apologies or, more importantly, unmade spiritual decisions. One of the convicts executed alongside Jesus desperately needed to make such a decision. He realised who Jesus was and desired to be with Him in paradise as he was only a few breath away from eternity. He acknowledged his wrongdoing and Jesus’ innocence, and he requested to be remembered in His kingdom (Luke 23:42). Jesus welcomed him warmly (v.43).

God does not wish for anyone to perish. Anyone, regardless of age, health, or station in life, is welcome to accept His offer of salvation. Do not wait any longer. Resolve this important unfinished business, and look forward to spending eternity with Him.

Also, if there is any other unfinished business, take care of it as soon as possible.

🙏🏼 Lord Jesus, help us resolve every unfinished businesses.
