EPHESIANS 4:27
As the Coronavirus restrictions and observance of safety measures persists, we find ourselves experiencing episodes of moodiness and anxiety where we had been calm and corporative. We are beginning to get fed up.
When are things going back to normal? Certainly, previous generations have had to deal with serious pressures without falling apart – pandemics, wars, hunger, economic depressions, etc. How can we have a hard time just staying indoors, sitting apart, or not hugging and shaking hands?
The devil can be very funny at times such as this. He will ease through any door in our hearts or minds we leave just a tiny bit open! Making us tired of the waiting and hoping.
To conquer, we must be patient and never give any opportunity to the enemy. One little mistake can mean a lot, even in our spiritual pursuit to make heaven. So cunning is the enemy of our souls that he makes us feel we are wasting time calling upon the Lord and waiting for His intervention in our challenges.
To those who take the time to wait upon the Lord and give no room to the devil, He gives power; He increases strength to mount up with wings like eagles, to run and not be weary and to walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)
