ROMANS 8:9–17
In most African communities, naming ceremonies are highly significant. These ceremonies signify identity. Even as a child grows, they are always known by their parents’ names and heritage.
Likewise, Paul reminds us that we are forever God’s children, adopted through His Spirit. We are no longer bound by fear or empty traditions, but are called “heirs of God” and “co-heirs with Christ.”
Being part of a family gives you a name, purpose, and boldness. So it is with God’s family.
Embrace that truth today.
🙏 May you always live in the knowledge that you are God’s child and remain under His covering.
