LUKE 12:15
A man found a wallet stuffed with cash and felt momentarily wealthy—until he discovered it belonged to his struggling neighbour. Returning it brought him far greater joy than keeping it. True value lies not in what we own, but in how we act.
In Luke 12:15, Jesus warned the people to be on their guard against all kinds of greed and told them that life does not consist in the abundance of possessions. He reminds us that greed blinds the heart, while contentment and generosity reflect God’s kingdom.
In our daily lives, chasing wealth or status often steals our peace. Jesus calls us to value people over things, giving and serving with open hearts, and finding lasting joy in His ways.
🙏 May the Lord help you value Him and the good of others above all possessions. Amen.
