MATTHEW 16:21–28
Imagine a builder erecting a house. He realises too late that some bricks were mislaid—and yet, rather than abandon the work, he corrects every mistake.
In our walk with God, failures and misunderstandings are not the end, but part of our training, where we learn and build more wisely.
In Matthew 16:21–28, Jesus tells His disciples about His coming suffering, death, and resurrection. He calls them to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow him.
Today, many of us face setbacks—failed plans, wrong turns, or even public mistakes. Yet Jesus uses those very moments to shape us. When we surrender our pride, embrace the cross, and keep following Him, we discover real life beyond our losses.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus teach you to follow Him, carrying your cross and all. Amen.
