MATTHEW 5:1–16
I recently took some clothes to a tailor to have them mended. The things hanging on the walls inspired me as soon as I walked into his shop. “We can mend your clothes, but only God can mend your heart,” said one sign.
The owner of the shop, who has been running it for about fifteen years, shared how the Lord has worked through faith statements and a trust in Christ. I commended him for spreading the message of Christ in his workplace.
Not everyone can be that audacious in their workplace. But aside from putting up write-ups, we can demonstrate unexpected love, patience, and kindness in various situations, embodying the Lord’s statement, “You are the light of the world.”
