HEBREWS 11:1-10
Autostereograms, also known by the brand name Magic Eye are abstract images. These images when used with a special viewfinder such as a stereoscope or just with the eyes, will converge into a 3D image. They were very popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries as a way to “experience” other parts of the world without having to travel. With the growth in the use of computers, autostereograms began to appear, which “hide” the image in a seemingly abstract pattern.
Stereograms and autostereograms are widely used in vision therapy because looking at images requires good interaction between the eyes. They can be used to develop or strengthen binocular vision, as well as for certain visual disturbances.
Images of magical eyes require persistence. The same persistence is important in matters of faith. The danger for skeptics is that they will stop seeking God because they think they cannot find Him. Moses warned the Israelites that future generations would turn away from God. He further promised that those who seek God persistently will find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29).The writer to the Hebrews also confirms that God rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
If you find it hard to believe, remember, just because you cannot see God does not mean that He does not exist. He will always be found by those who seek Him. The more we look for Him, the better our vision of Him. He is just in the picture.
🙏Lord, because You are great, You will be sought; because You are good, You will be found.
